Must have been a busy weekend for the police in California. We have a couple of names to add to the list of stars gone wild and drunk this week. Danielle Fishel of Boy Meets World fame (Topanga- remember that cute little hippie girl?) was arrested last Thursday in Newport Beach, CA. She was released later that morning but will still face DUI charges.
Rebecca De Mornay was also taken into custody for driving under the influence during a traffic stop in Beverly Hills. She failed a number of sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol level of .09. She was also released later on that night but the 48 year old actress proves that age sometimes does not bring wisdom.
In the most shocking of the week’s arrests for driving drunk (and actually the most sad) former Yankees player Jim Leyritz was charged with vehicular homicide and driving under the influence. The report says that early this morning the SUV he was driving crashed into another vehicle, ejecting the female driver from the vehicle and later died. He is still being held.
